Field Marketing Representative - Seasonal

Position Overview:

We are looking for energized candidates interested in a Temporary Seasonal Position (July – December) to support our field marketing plans for the most important time of the year. Our Field Marketing Specialists are product experts dedicated to educating partners and customers on Speck products and our brand.  This role requires great passion and enthusiasm for building Speck brand and customer relationships and we need engaging representatives in the field!


What You’ll Do (but not limited to):

Represent the Speck Brand with a high degree of understanding of products, attributes, differentiators and value
Provide critical device launch support in carrier and big box retail accounts
Plan for and execute consumer demo events, in store table events and assisted selling opportunities
Build Speck brand advocacy through engagement with retail sales associates

Plan, schedule and manage market coverage priorities
Execute Point of Purchase/Shipper compliance checks at retail stores as needed

Prepare for and participate in weekly program calls, share market conditions and communicate opportunities
Report on store visit activities and conditions at retail in compliance with field program reporting guidelines


Your Professional Profile:

Expert communicator – comfortable and confident in presentations of small and large group venues
Demonstrated success in working independently as a member of a remote team
Proven to be responsive, responsible, proactive, self-motivated, creative, and flexible, and have fun doing it!

2+ years brand/product marketing, field services, merchandising or related sales training
Work experience in mobile accessories or smartphone devices a plus

Must own a car, have auto insurance with a clean driving record, a credit card for travel and expenses
Have access to a personal laptop computer, smartphone and/or tablet and be willing to utilize personal equipment to gather store visit information and transmit findings throughout the day


Specific Skills Required:

Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities
Ability to work from home and manage own travel schedule
Self starter with a high level of initiative, accountability, and a team player who is passionate and committed
Willing to work a flexible schedule, sometimes including nights and at least 2 weekends per month
Computer skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word


Field Specialists will report to the Regional Field Marketing Managers as part of a high-visibility, highly respected team of product & market experts.
