Sr. Manager of Direct to Consumer

We are currently seeking a Sr. Manager of Direct to Consumer to join the Speck eCommerce Team. Speck is a period of rapid development. This is an opportunity to have a strategic role on the team and influence a critical area of the Speck business.

This is a high-impact and high-growth role, reporting the Sr. Director of Marketing & eCommerce, you will be responsible for driving the Direct to Consumer growth and roadmap. You will manage all aspects of the D2C business including eCommerce channels, operations, digital marketing, data analysis, and technical implementation.  You will also work collaboratively to develop a strategy that supports the overall company and department goals.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the Direct to Consumer business and responsible for developing strategies to support revenue growth both in the US and Globally.
  • Manage the internal D2C team and responsible for team’s professional development, feedback, and coaching to support their growth and outcomes at Speck. 
  • Work directly with the technical implementation team to drive improvements to our website.
  • Manage agency and partner relationships as they relate to technical development and digital marketing.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and implement strategies to support growth of the channel. 
  • Develop and execute promotional strategies to maximize sales at target margins.
  • Develop and manage on-line sales and marketing programs that generate incremental sales and meet or exceed ROI targets.
  • Manage weekly D2C reporting, metric tracking and communication.
  • Lead a weekly D2C meeting with key stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities and create actions to go after them.
  • Run with additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support the Speck business.
  • Partner with HR to recruit, hire, and onboard new team members.

Position Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Direct to Consumer / eCommerce Management and Marketing experiences, with a minimum of 4 years of direct people management experience.
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or related disciplines.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic fast paced organization and can juggle multiple projects/deadlines.
  • Outstanding people and team management skills.
  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and working in a dynamic fast paced organization and can juggle multiple projects/deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to analyze and present data to the business and use data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint & Excel)
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of Google Analytics, Demandware (or other platforms), HTML and Photoshop.
